BEIOUYI: China’s first polyolefin elastomer (POE) industrial equipment is put into production

On December 15, Hainan Beiouyi Technology's 30,000 tons/year special polyolefin and supporting project was successfully started, producing high-performance POE products with independent intellectual property rights, marking the official successful commissioning of China's first POE industrialized device.

Data shows that POE, as a co-extruded photovoltaic film material with EVA, continues to have strong consumer demand! In 2022, China's photovoltaic module output will exceed 200GW, and the consumption of POE particles for photovoltaic films will exceed 250,000 tons, occupying the largest consumption field.

According to data from the China Photovoltaic Industry Association, module output is expected to exceed 550GW in 2030, and the use of POE film and co-extruded EPE film is expected to account for 51%. It is estimated that the consumption of POE particles for photovoltaic films will double by then.
