Xinhu (Changzhou) Petrochemical Co., Ltd. was established in May 2000 as a joint venture between Korea Xinhu Petrochemical Co., Ltd., Changzhou Plastic Group, and Changzhou Xingang Economic Development Co., Ltd., with a total investment of USD 29.82 million. The company employs Korea Xinhu Petrochemical's emulsion graft polymerization technology to professionally produce various grades and types of ABS resin. The first-phase project, an annual production capacity of 50,000 tons of ABS, was officially put into operation in early 2003. Through technological upgrades in November 2004, the nameplate capacity reached 70,000 tons per year.In January 2010, Macau Xinyang Co., Ltd. acquired the shares held by Korea Xinhu Petrochemical, becoming the controlling shareholder of the company. Xinyang Co., Ltd. consistently adheres to a scientific development philosophy, promotes circular economy, aims to build an industrial chain, and pursues large-scale and intensive operational models for sustainable development. Xinyang Co., Ltd. has invested in ten enterprises in mainland China, including Changzhou Yabang Chemical Co., Ltd., Changzhou Xinri Chemical Co., Ltd., Changzhou Donghao Chemical Co., Ltd., Jiangsu Yabang Paint Co., Ltd., Zhangzhou Yabang Chemical Co., Ltd., Tianjin Yabang Chemical Co., Ltd., and Changzhou Changjiang Thermal Energy Co., Ltd.After the change in controlling shareholder to Macau Xinyang, Xinhu (Changzhou) Petrochemical Co., Ltd. leverages the group's internal advantages such as reliable upstream raw material supply and strong financial reserves.
