The Commission recently announced a preliminary anti-dumping ruling on adipic acid originating in China. The preliminary ruling sets provisional anti-dumping duties at 28.6% for Chongqing Huafeng Chemical Co., Ltd., 46.8% for Tangshan Zhonghao Chemical Co., Ltd., 32.0% for other partner companies (see the original appendix), and 46.8% for other Chinese producers/exporters. The EU CN (Combined Nomenclature) code for the product in question is ex 2917 12 00 (TARIC code is 2917 12 00 10). The dumping investigation period is from January 1, 2024 to December 31, 2024, and the injury investigation period is from January 1, 2021 to the end of the dumping investigation period. The announcement took effect on the day following its publication.

Interested parties should submit their hearing applications within 5 calendar days of the announcement's publication and their case comments within 15 calendar days.

On March 14, 2025, an anti-dumping investigation was initiated against adipic acid originating in China.
