Introduction

Daqing Petrochemical Company is a regional subsidiary of PetroChina Company Limited. It is a large-scale integrated petrochemical enterprise that primarily uses crude oil, light hydrocarbons, and natural gas from the Daqing Oilfield as raw materials. The company engages in oil refining, ethylene production, plastics, rubber, chemical downstream processing, liquid chemicals, fertilizers, and chemical fiber manufacturing. It also provides engineering technical services, production technical support, machinery processing and manufacturing, and mining area services.Established in 1962, the company was formerly known as Daqing General Petrochemical Works. In October 1999, it was restructured and separated into Daqing Petrochemical Company and Daqing General Petrochemical Works. In June 2007, the two entities were reintegrated into Daqing Petrochemical Company. Its oil refining, fertilizer, chemical, and acrylic fiber facilities were completed and put into operation in 1963, 1976, 1986, and 1988, respectively. After more than four decades of development, the company has gradually formed a four-in-one business structure focused on refining and chemical production, alongside engineering technology, diversified operations, and mining area services.
