On February 20, 2024, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of India issued an announcement to make a final affirmative anti-dumping ruling on pentaerythritol originating in or imported from mainland China, Saudi Arabia, and Taiwan, China.
It is recommended to impose anti-dumping duties on the products involved in the above-mentioned countries and regions for a period of 5 years, which are respectively US$345.15/ton in mainland China, US$300.15/ton in Saudi Arabia and US$499.01/ton in Taiwan.
The Indian customs code of the product involved is 2905.42.90.
