Founded in 1996 and located in the northeast section of Zhenjiang New Dagang Economic Development Zone, Jiangsu Province, adjacent to the western bank of the Yangtze River, Zhenjiang Chi Mei specializes in producing and selling plastic products such as PS, AS, ABS, PMMA, and optical sheets. These products are widely used in the manufacturing of various industrial and consumer plastic goods and components, primarily supplying domestic automotive, motorcycle, home appliance, toy, and cosmetics manufacturers, including Changhong, Haier, Hisense, Midea, Gree, Ronshen, KYMCO, and FAW-Volkswagen.Since its establishment, with the strong support and trust from all sectors and clients, Zhenjiang Chi Mei has consistently increased investment and expanded its facilities, leading to continuous growth in sales. In July 2010, it successfully merged with five companies including Chi Mei and Guoheng, becoming a large-scale Taiwanese-invested joint venture. It was recognized as one of Jiangsu Province's Top 100 Enterprises in 2009. The company has a registered capital of USD 332 million and a total investment of USD 734 million, covering an area of 2,000 acres with a workforce of 1,000 employees. In 2009, its annual sales exceeded RMB 10 billion for the first time. From 2010 to 2012, it achieved annual sales exceeding RMB 12 billion, with profits of RMB 2 billion and an average annual output value per employee exceeding RMB 15 million.
