South Korea Imposes Provisional Anti-Dumping Duties on Butyl Acrylate from China

On April 22, Korea's Ministry of Economy and Finance issued Announcement No. 2026-76, deciding to impose provisional anti-dumping duties on butyl acrylate originating in China. The duty rates for the following exporters/producers and their affiliated companies range from 9.53% to 19.17%, specifically: Taixing Sunke Chemicals Co., Ltd. — 11.88%; Shanghai Huayi New Material Co., Ltd. — 9.53%; Pinghu Petro Chemical Co., Ltd. and other producers/exporters — 19.17%. The measure took effect on April 22, 2026, and will remain in force for four months, until August 21, 2026. The product concerned falls under Korean tariff number 2916.12.3000. The announcement became effective from the date of publication.
