Lotte Chemical held a safety and health forum themed "Safety Partnership" at the Lotte World Tower in Jamsil, Seoul, inviting CEOs and safety managers from 38 partner companies. The forum aimed to promote two-way communication between Lotte Chemical and its partners, assist in building autonomous safety and health management systems, and facilitate in-depth discussions on key issues such as the "Serious Accidents Punishment Act," with the goal of jointly enhancing safety management levels and creating a safer work environment.

The forum content focused on practical projects, covering the latest judicial precedents and trends related to the "Serious Accidents Punishment Act," compliance training for executives, and sharing of current safety management conditions and plans among partner companies. Participants jointly discussed best practices and inspection outcomes in safety and health management, striving to promote close cooperation and information exchange in the field of safety and health between all parties.

As early as 2024, Lotte Chemical held its first "Safety Partnership" forums with local partners at its Yeosu, Daesan, and Ulsan plants. The event in Seoul is an extension of this series of exchanges, reflecting the company's ongoing commitment to fostering a mutually beneficial safety culture. Park In-cheol, head of the ESG Management Department at Lotte Chemical, stated: "This forum provided a platform for the company and its partners to engage in dialogue as a safety community. Upholding the shared belief that 'all accidents are preventable,' we will make every effort to build a safe work environment and effectively prevent accidents."
