Introduction
Dezhou Shihua Chemical Co., Ltd. (formerly Dezhou Petrochemical General Plant) is a state-owned sole proprietorship manufacturing enterprise. Located in the northern chemical industrial park of Tianqu Industrial Park, Decheng District, Dezhou City, Shandong Province, it was established in 1971 and joined China National Chemical Group (ChemChina) at the end of 2007. It is now a wholly-owned subsidiary of China Chemical Equipment (Haohua Chemical) Corporation under ChemChina.The company's main products include ion-membrane caustic soda, hydrochloric acid, PVC resin, and liquid chlorine. The annual production capacity of its primary products is 400,000 tons of ion-membrane caustic soda and 360,000 tons of PVC resin, with annual sales revenue reaching RMB 3 billion. Currently, the company is collaborating with research institutions such as the Shanghai Advanced Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Tianjin University to develop new products and processes. Key projects have been included in the National 973 Program and 863 Program, receiving full government support. The second-phase project of Dezhou Shihua focuses on developing diversified raw materials, high-value-added chlor-alkali and fluorine-based fine chemical products, and specialty products to extend the industrial chain.
