BASF is a world-leading chemical company with over 110,000 employees, six Verbund sites, and approximately 380 additional production sites worldwide, serving customers and partners in nearly every country. In the Chemical Products segment, we supply products to customers in the chemical, electronics, construction, textile, automotive, pharmaceutical, and agriculture industries, among many others. We also ensure that other divisions of BASF are supplied with chemicals for the production of downstream products. Our portfolio ranges from basic chemicals, solvents for the semiconductor and solar industries, glues and electronic chemicals, plasticizers and high-volume monomers, to raw materials for detergents, plastics, textile fibers, paints, coatings, and pharmaceuticals. In the Performance Products segment: Our products lend stability and color to countless everyday items and enhance their application profiles. Our product range includes vitamins and food additives, as well as pharmaceutical and health ingredients, home and personal care products. Other performance products improve processes in the paper industry, oil and gas production, mining, and water treatment. They also enhance the efficiency of fuels and lubricants, the effectiveness of adhesives and coatings, and the stability of plastics.
